So I've had my x1 carbon for just over a week. On Friday I upgraded to windows 8 via the upgrade assistant and then did a wipe and install via the windows 8 menu. I left the laptop plugged in over night and unplugged it saturday morning and took off for the day. About midday I went to recharge the laptop and noticed it wouldn't charge when using it. Through some messing around I found that it will only charge when powered off or the windows 8 version of shut down. If the laptop is on and wont' charge. Is there a driver I'm missing or is it more then likely a faulty charger? Is there a way I can test the adapter to see if it's putting out the correct power? Or since i have accidental/on site should I just call them up and let them deal with it?

    Thanks for any help.
