    Do you guys know how it takes typically for customization options to become available via lenovo's site for a certain model? Right now I only see preconfigured 5th gens available

    asked the chat helper person said "I would hope to see it within the next few weeks.."

    This does not help me at all!

    *disclaimer, my boss' laptop is dying, this is not for me. We'd like to have a 1tb ssd and Windows 7 professional...

    Kaby Lake has no official support for Windows 7 so my guess is all X1s will ship with Windows 10. As for the SSD - you could swap it out yourself.
