Some places are listing the x100e as having a TFT display while others are listing LED. when i go to lenovo site it doesnt let you choose. so why are places showing it different depending where you buy it. is there an earlier model that was originally TFT then they switched to led later or are they all TFT displays.
-
They are all TFT. TFT is the type of panel, LED or CCFL would define the type of backlighting. I believe the X100e's are all TFT displays, LED backlit.

Well, technically, they're all TFT displays (see Wikipedia). I think you're asking whether the X100e's screens are CCFL- or LED-backlit - I believe they all have LED-backlit screens.
EDIT: tobyg beat me to it -
ah i see thanks guys. yea i was confusing it with CCFL. well thats good to hear. now just to decide to buy the 100e in 3 weeks or the x201 in 12 weeks.
+1 for both of you for clearing up my stupidity
x100e screen TFT or LED
