Is it a good quality laptop or a Lenovo flop?
Also, are there any coupons currently available? If not, when will there be?
Thank you,

I'll suggest reading through the following threads:

To answer your question though, it's good for what it is -- it's a very well built netbook, probably the best, but it's still the cheapest Thinkpad.
I don't know of any coupons but... the ship time on the x120e is listed as more than 4 weeks from lenovo. -
It's OK to good. Speed is fine for what it is, built OK except for the hinges, mine made an odd sound. Keyboard is OK, I liked the trackpad. The worst thing is the screen, the viewing angles are really, really, really bad

Good for what?

I will check out the linked threads. I actually love the x120e's matte screen.

i was going to buy the X120e until i saw this X201 going for the same price on ebay. might be worth looking for a good deal on a X201 as well

I canceled my x120e order from Lenovo as it was 6 weeks out. If anyone is interested in buying this thing, it's best to do a search on Google shopping. You can get it for around $470 from two vendors (E-350) and ships now.

I placed an order for my x120e on Wednesday May 4th, on Lenovo's site and received it in the mail from UPS on Friday, May 13th.
Loving it so far, did all the updates for the Lenovo software with Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox and all the window updates. Hardware seems to be in brand new perfect condition and software seems fine, and I haven't encountered any of the issues that have been brought up in the threads. I ended up paying $476.33 including tax (darn you Washington State tax) and shipping, with the student discount for the 4GB ram and Windows 7 Pro model. -
Nice, I'm looking into getting the exact same model using student discount but it will cost me $476.91.
x120e?
