I've had my x120e for a couple of weeks and use TPFanControl. Yesterday I noticed that the pci temp is stuck at 125 degrees. I don't think this was the way it was, so I wanted to ask if this is normal. If not can I do anything about it? Everything seems to run fine and I've watched a couple of HD videos with no problem.

The X120e doesn't have a PCI temperature sensor as far as I know... TPFanControl reads mine as "n/a." It's likely reading yours incorrectly as well, so I'd say not to worry about it.

Does this affect the way TPFanControl works? I put in the Levels you posted in a different thread and the toolbar currently shows Fan State 128 which is think is for the BIOS to take over. My CPU temp is at 50 degrees though, so shouldn't it be Fan State 0 or 1? I have it set to Smart Mode 1 where I made the changes in the ini file.

Sorry for bumping a rather old thread, but what is the 'PCI' reading on TPFanControl?

On my T400, it is often the warmest reading that triggers the thresholds I've set for the fan, and I'm curious to know what this is for, and also whether I should set the program to ignore this reading for the purposes of the threshold.

    Thanks!
