Okay, im making decisions decisions wise ones.

The x1400 is obviously faster than the x1300, but by how much, what desktop cards can i compare these to?

What is the power consumption of the x1400 vs the x1300? How much will the 1300 draw and how much more will the x1400 draw?

On average, the X1400 will be twice as powerful as the 1300, consume a little more battery power (maybe 10 - 15 mins less of battery life - depending on the machine/uses).

Comparable to ~ GeForce 2 i'd say, perhaps better.

What is the desktop equivalent of the x1400 then? I currently have a GeForce 2 MX400 on my desktop (don't laugh), so if I get a T60, I hope that it's much better than what i have now.

    Thanks!

The X1400 should outperform the geforce 2 by leaps and bounds. The Radeon X1K series are equivalent to the Geforce 7 series, though this is the lower end of X1K series. While there is no X1400 desktop card, there is a X1300 desktop card, and a X1600 desktop card. Obviously the X1400 should fall between the two in terms of performance

That's about right. I have a Radeon 9200 right now, i'd say on par with the laptop counterpart.
