Hello there,
I live in Europe and I was wondering if I could use the x200 WWAN option with a non US provider. You know, sticking a Euro provider's SIM card (Vodafone's for example) and connect to internet without hassle.
Thanks in advance!

Yes I believe it works with any provider that offers WWAN

This should work. I got the WWAN card in mine mainly for use overseas because I rarely need WWAN in the states (I also have access to a Sprint 34mm Express Card when I do need it). However, I have not been out of the country with my x200 Tablet yet, so I can't verify it works.
Make sure you get the AT&T version though. It is GSM, and this is the standard most of the world uses. You can swap SIM cards by removing the battery, and this should work just fine with Vodafone or other providers (I called Lenovo and they told me it was unlocked and that this should work). DO NOT get the Verizon card as it is CDMA, and doesn't even use SIM cards. -
Thanks a lot for the feedback

Make sure to check your service providers prices though. Many have outrageous international roaming data prices. You might be better off getting a local SIM-card though that's tricky as well. It's not common that carriers offer data plans as pay as you go.

That's actually the plan Andresin, getting a local SIM card to connect to internet while abroad. That's why I was asking whether the WWAN card is compatible with overseas 3G providers.
x200 - WWAN usage overseas?
