About to ring the register on an x200.

I know the 9 cell sticks out the back of the laptop - does the 4 or 6 cell do the same?

I think that 6 cell does too. But the advantage of the higher cell is not only the battery hours, but it also tilts the notebook a bit up.. it should be good for venting the air out.

There was a 3d visual design in one of the previews of the x200 .... 4-cell doesn't stick out, 6-cell wont stick out but would lift the laptop up a bit. 9-cell would stick-out in the back and also lift the laptop.

Like NumLock said, the 6 cell sits flush in the back and bulges down on the bottom a bit and might actually help the laptop sit in a typing friendly position.
