    x200 Video Playback Issue - Solved

    I think I found the problem. The default refresh rate of the Intel graphics media accelerator is 50 Hertz. Change that to 60 Hertz. Problem solved, smooth even movie playback.

    I'm glad that worked for you but it hasn't fixed mine. The issue I'm having is not smoothness (it was always smooth and even). It is brightness, blockiness, color quality, grain, and similar problems (especially in dark areas of video) for which I have yet to find an adequate fix. I think I may have a less than great LCD panel, and am going to see if a screen replacement fixes my problems (I have already called Lenovo, and a shipping box is en route).

    I have not experienced any of the problems. It does sound like your problems maybe hardware related. At least in sending it back you should receive a definitive answer and correction.
