(I've tried searching these forums, but I haven't had results with "pci serial" "pci simple")

After installing W7 I have 2 unknown devices

    PCI Serial Port
    PCI Simple Communications Controller

and my ThinkVantage button does nothing. I'm trying to keep driver installs to a minimum.

I've installed the "Hotkey Features", "System Interface driver", and "Power Manager" from:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/WIN7-BETA.html

And Windows Update had something for the Trackpoint to get the middle scroll button working again, as well as some critical update for the Intel graphics.

Which specific packages do I need to get the 2 missing PCI devices and the ThinkVantage button working? (And if I need an AMT one, which one is it, LMS or MEI? both say they are for x200, or should I even bother with AMT?)

And is the SERVICEV003 partition useless now that I removed vista and went completely W7? Is there a way to make it useful for W7?

It's AMT, and you might need both. I don't believe the ThinkVantage buttons works with 7 at present.

I couldn't find a method to get the Thinkvantage button working either, but the volume/mute and the OSD works fine.
