    Hi,

I am going to buy a thinkpad x200 or x200s and but have a few questions on the configurations:-

    1) Is Intel Turbo Memory beneficial?

    2) is TFT screen superior over a LED screen? What is the benefits of LED? (battery life?, which one looks better?)

    3) CPU - Differences of the P series and SL intel CPU?
    say P8600 2.4 ghz, 3MB L2 Cache vs SL9400 1.86GHz (6MB L2 cache) - my major concern is performance, will the 2.4 3MB L2 be overall perform better than the 1.86 6MB L2?

    Thanks in advance.

LEDs do not enhance image quality. They do tend to be brighter with a more even backlight.

You could say that the more even backlight makes the monitor better, but it doesnt necessarily have better qualities in the other standpoints. As was mentioned the LED backlit is lighter because you can make them thinner compared to CCFL.

The X200 alone gets about 10 hours with a nine cell. The X200s should just be sick!

That certainly sounds good, but what is the CPU of the x200? and you currently own a x200?
