what type of games do you think the x200 would be capable of running? it has a fairly powerful processor, but not much of a graphics card

im not sure if your into rpg. but Diablo 2 can run on intel gma graphics just fine. its max resolution is 800x600. its a huge game and takes a crapload of hours to build your character up. lots of content. its either offline or online.

ive also been told but have not tried myself that starcraft will also run ok on it.

this might sound wierd but you should check the netbook forums like http://www.eeeuser.com/. they are always talking about and trying games on intel gma graphics

Diablo and Starcraft don't even need a GPU. They are perfectly capable of running in Software mode.

Beyond software accelerated games, the x200 is capable of playing back older 3D games with moderate requirements (Civ4, Company of Heroes [low settings], Sins of a Solar Empire, etc.). Most newer games and almost anything that is an FPS will struggle.

The x4500 is a fine desktop level and video playback GPU. However, it is too weak for most modern games.

You can run plenty of FPS games on low settings, and many RTS games as well. Starcraft can run on 10+-year-old computers, so no issue there. Warcraft 3 should run maxed as well.

I still play command and conquer: generals. I figure that it would also run some other games 2 or 3 years ago quite well also.
