Has anyone here had any problems loading or finding the drivers for the PCI Simple Communications Controller after installing windows 7?

I had that issue when I clean-installed Win7 Ultimate on my T410. I think I had to install one of the ThinkVantage programs to get that "bang" out of my device manager. I think it was either the Power Manager, Access Communications or the audio software (can't remember). The modem driver didn't solve it. Just keep installing the stuff from the drivers & software matrix page and you'll eventually fix it. Or install the Software Updater and it will fix it for you. (You'll need to install Thinkvantage Toolbox to get the updater, I think.)

Yup! ThinkVantage Toolbox took care of everything, thanks! :)
