Purchased my x200 with 1GB installed and bought this mushkin 4GB set to upgrade. Popped the sticks in and the 4GB is recognized in BIOS, but after the initial boot screen I get nothing but a blinking cursor. Tried each individual stick, and tried the stock 1GB stick to confirm that the problem was with the mushkin RAM.

Are the sticks a lost cause to be RMAd or is there any way I could troubleshoot this?

Try them one at a time. It's probably the memory, but could be a bad slot too.

Tried 'em one at a time with no luck, and it's definitely not the slot since the stock stick works fine in slot 0 but neither mushkins do. What's weird is that they are recognized in BIOS though...

EDIT: Eh, nevermind. I don't want to stress over this, just put in a RMA for these sticks and purchased the Crucial set that'll arrive on Monday. I can deal with 1GB of RAM for the weekend.
