    Hallo, dear thinkpad lovers.

I would like to ask you a question about the x200s.

The lenovo (us) website does not mention the presence of a webcam in the currently available models of the x200s. I phoned the lenovo support (us) who confirmed that the currently on sale x200s does not have a webcam and they do not know for sure if the next available will have one. However all the reviews or articles about the x200s that i read say that it has a 1.3 megapixel camera built in.

Did you know this? What do you know about this?

The webcam is not the main reason why to buy this laptop, but it is useful to have, especially if you often use the pc as a video telephone a custom that will become more and more popular in the next years even in the professional environments. I think that the webcam will be a common and default component in the future. A webcam could also give us a psycological reason (even if very weak) for accepting the big frame around the screen.. which gives the impression that the laptop is not at the maximum of its capabilities.

    Thank you.

    :)
