    Yes, it will. The 6-cell battery adds c.a. 0.2in to the overall height.
    Yes, it is. I use to have one. I didn't like it - a laptop is connected through a (IdeaPad/ThinkPad) adapter - which seemed not to be much reliable.
    I would prefer the one dedicated to ThinkPads only.

    The height of the laptop at the rear will be marginally reduced. The 4 cell sits completely flush, whereas the 6 cell lifts the laptop up and has its own feet. However, you should be aware that the 4 cell only provides HALF the capacity of the 6 cell (28 vs. 56 WHr).

    The 90w slim adapter will work fine.
