    will the 8cell battery for x200tablet fit into the thinkpad sleeve?

    Not very well (my friend has one for his x200 with 9 cell), but you can squeeze it in there.

    You may want to consider the x200 Tablet Sleeve pictured below. This is form fit for the x200 Tablet with 8 cell andyou can use it in slate mode while still in the sleeve.

    Yes, that is the 8 cell in the Tablet Sleeve. The fit on this is perfect and it includes a little foam spacer if you want to use the 4 cell.

    I assumed you were referring to the normal ThinkPad sleeve ( here), is that not correct? The fit on that one is VERY tight.

    i was actually referring to the sleeve you've got there, it look very convenient. wish lenovo would make buying a x200t more convenient though

    It's a pretty good sleeve. I use it whenever I want to carry JUST the x200T. I also have the discontinued 'ThinkPad Leather Ultraportable' case ( here) that I use when I need to carry a few other things.
