jeez, i am trying to enter the seriel number to upgrade to windows 7.
i cant make sense of that at the lenovo site.
so maybe i will work with the "product"
so x200 t is the what? y450? i dont know...
stupid lenovo site.
-
what? x200t is x200t. y is something completely different. so is g, and t, and r, and w, and u...etc
-
What type of problem are you having? Your serial number is printed on a sticker on the bottom of your ThinkPad. It will say something like:
Type: NNNN-XXX S/N: L3-XXXXX YY/MM
with a bar code beneath it
Type tells you what model of ThinkPad you have.
S/N is your ThinkPad's serial number.
YY/MM is the year and month of manufacture.
Does that help? -
thanks but no.
it is not accepting my seriel number.
whats another name for the x200 t?
so i can find the drivers manually. -
Are you talking about machine type...?
For my x200 it is 7454CTO (CTO meaning configure to order since I bought it from lenovo.com).
It should say all that on the back of your laptop. -
no, I just want a way to download drivers for the laptop windows 7 64 bit.
it is asking for seriel and that is not working.
manually finding the product is a huge list of computers i dont recognize.
aadggghhhh... -
When you go to look for drivers you put in the product number (which consists of the machine type and some other alphanumeric info. CTO in my case) and then say what Operating System...
Try again.

-
I don't have an x200t, so I am not familiar. Maybe jon can help you.
-
-
"Will the screen not rotate at all, or does the bezel button not work, or are you simply referring to active rotate?"
hi, actually none of it works. active rotation means rotate when i close the lid and lock in right?
that would be nice.
thanks where do i find these drivers i did the thinkvantage 4 program thingie to get all drivers installed for win 7 64 bit
was that not included?
