Well, my order has finally shipped earlier today.

Though I'll be out of town for most of next week, I won't be here to receive it personally. :(

I read on UPS's website that one can have a package delivered to an immediate neighbor as long as UPS has permission/notification to do so.

My plan is to leave a note on the door informing the UPS person of the situation and asking them to deliver next door.

Is this possible? Or are there other alternatives?

with fedex my neighbor signed for my package for me without my permission, not sure if UPS could do the same.

im sure a note would work though.
