Hey guys,
I have an x201 (i5, 4gb, 500gb, bluetooth, 6300ult) and i'm trying to get GNS3 running on my system. It installs fine but when i go to load a virtual router the program hangs and it ends up timing out.
I was originaly running win7 x64 pro that came with it, and i just reinstalled the os to win7 32bit enterprise to test if it was a x64 issue and its still happening. I have gns3 running on an sl510 fine with 32bit and also on my alienware m17x with 32bit. Does anyone know what could be causing this program not to run properly? bios settings or something maybe?
the website for the program is GNS3 | Graphical Network Simulator if anyone wants to try it out, you need to have an IOS for one of the router versions though so you need a login with cisco to access those.
Thanks

Install Virtual XP Mode. Maybe this is solution of your problem.

How's GNS3 with X201 lately? I'm eyeing to buy this lenovo mainly to be used for GNS3 labs too. Appreciate you could tell how many routers can run simultaneously if it's working.
Thanks
