    Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows if this memory will cause issues with my system, the specs and everything look the same as the 4gb i currently have.

    Newegg.ca - Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model 996644

also has anyone tried out the mushkin ssd? from the review's i've seen it looks like it has some great performance out of it.

NCIX.com - Buy Mushkin Callisto 240GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD - MKNSSDCL240GB In Canada.

    Thanks!

I don't foresee any issues for you with the memory. Older ThinkPads could be finicky about memory, but the newer one are much less picky.

That SSD is more than I paid for my X200. The SandForce controller is supposed to be good, but I'd say the Intel drives are a much more known quantity. If you got the cash and want it, I don't see a reason to stop you. You might want to post over in the hardware forum, where you'll probably get more opinions about SSDs at least.
