    Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I thot since it's x220 specific, it would qualify under this forum. I've been looking for sleeves for my new x220, and so far I like SFBags - WaterField Designs - Laptop Sleeve - TSA Checkpoint Friendly - TSA Good - MacBook Pro - MacBook Air Sleeve - Macbook Air Case - Notebook Sleeve - Computer Sleeve - Laptop Case, and saw someone mentioned iPad case Kindle cover MacBook sleeve iPhone slip case: 13 inch ThinkPad X300 Sleeves. Anyone had experience with either of those? The wrappers.typepad might be the wrong product, but someone said its from that website and I just PMed them to ask.

    Also, is there a way to get cheaper docking station than the ultrabase for x220? i've downed quite a bit of dough for black friday and its simply very costly. Thanks!

    @gamekingr

    I have the WaterField Designs sleeve. I originally bought the one [SC2517-HNNN-ZZLD] that they said is for Samsung Series 9 13.3" (for my Samsung) but it was too big. They replaced it with a smaller bag, which I think is for the MacBook Air, and the X220 fits nice and snugly in that. I didn't get the flap as I want something that would be easily accessible (from a briefcase or carry-on).

    While it has a good fit and offers good protection, I can't recommend it. On a trip to London, in which I did not even take it out, the ballistic nylon got "pulled/furry" from just being in my carry-on. [picture attached] Those come off with lint remover roll.

    I bought the ThinkPad 12W case sleeve from Lenovo when I bought my X220. It's too big and doesn't have a pocket. I might be able to make a pocket in it though for my spare battery and/or power supply so it might actually work out OK.

    Good morning everyone,

    Kalahari, hm, that is an undesirable setback. Thank you so much for letting me know since I was really considering it. I heard alot about the 12w case being too big also...guess I'd be getting something from that other website once I have a confirmed dimensions...any other recommendations?

    Unfortunately, all of the official docks for the x220/t are expensive. I haven't seen the MiniDock 3 consistently less than $100, even on eBay. The UltraBase 3 is often two times that. You can always get a USB port replicator, but that's obviously not quite the same...

    I just used a leftover sleeve for a previous Mac. It works great with the 9-cell battery.
