I dropped my phone onto my laptop from about 10 cm. It hit the top left corner of the keyboard and maybe the bottom part of the screen. Right after that, the colours of the screen became distorted with green and pink colours. It seems like the dark colours turn bright green.

I already connected it to an external monitor and that worked without any problem.

What can I do to fix this? I have the IPS screen.

I'd try re-seating the LCD cable. If that doesn't work, you're looking at screen replacement.

    Good luck.
