For some reason I was never able to create restore discs on my thinkpad. The part number for the right restore discs should be 04T3598, but when I follow the links lenovo presents in order to order said part, it says the part does not exist.

I've reinstalled Windows 7 myself and all of the drivers from Lenovo's website, but the problem I have is that the mouse axes don't change when I change my screen orientation to portrait. Thus in tablet mode, moving the pen side to side causes the pointer to move vertically, and vice versa. I've been in and out of about every setting in the control panel and never found anything that would fix this. All I can really think to do is somehow obtain the restore discs. Does anyone know how I can get them without going through the horrifying experience of having to call Lenovo on the phone?

If Lenovo still has the media, one can usually purchase recovery media by contacting their support.
