    Hi,

I'm looking into buying a dock for my x220 (integrated graphics), and the only thing stopping me is that I'm not sure whether the display on the laptop will continue working when the laptop is docked. I hope that there's someone else here using a dock who can help me clarify this :) I'm currently using my x220 with an external monitor, and I'd like to continue so when I have the dock.

The lenovo site says "up to two monitors can be attached and the ThinkPad display is disabled (ThinkPad display is blank)". Does this mean that the display is disabled if I plug two monitors, or that it'll be disabled no matter what I plug? And if the display is disabled, anyone knows why? I can't think of a reason why they would have to do that (is there a workaround?).

    Thanks a lot!

Internal display plus one external display work simultaneously on the dock. The Intel graphics support only two displays in total, so either internal + external or two externals.
