Why there is only one option for this model in processor with i3?

Does anyone know how to customize it with an i5 or i7?

The meaning of the i suffix is that the model has a Core i3 instead of a Core i5 or i7. Get the non-i-suffix model for a Core i5 or i7 CPU.

Ya as it's been stated, the i is the entry level model, meaning no upgrading at all out of the i3, but it is usually 100 dollars cheaper. To get the i5/i7 you need to select the standard x220.

IIRC, the X series have the processors soldered to the motherboard, so I must echo what the other two said and upgrade get the non "i" model.

Thank you, but it's weird...i don't see any link with a standard model in x series tablet..

the left one is x220i, the right one is multi, so...where is the standard model?

Lenovo - ThinkPad laptops - X Series tablets

The right is the standard model, it just the x220. Thinkpad xx20i refers to the base model and only has the base specs (no upgrading)

but why the title is multitouch tablet?

I mean where is the customize option that can distinguish or tell difference between multitouch tablet and standard model? I don't need the multitouch function.

It's probably just one of Lenovo's infamous typos. Further down the page they both say Multitouch for the display:

    Display type
12.5" Multitouch HD (1366x768) LED Backlit Display, Mobile Broadband Ready, 2x2 Antenna

sometimes these features are given whether you want it or not, so they are basically pre-customised for the buyer as a no cost add on (and they usually enjoy a bigger discount).
