This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     x220t : brightness tile in WMC missing

    It seemed that after i had ever trashed the brightness tile in SimpleTap, the brightness tile was gone forever. Even in Windows mobility center, the tile was missing too.

    The tile did worked before, so i am sure the hardware supports. I have install all the updates I can get but to no available, the tile is still missing. Any idea how to get it back?

    I can now only adjust bright by Fn+Home/Fn+End, which are stupidly placed very very far apart, and i must free up two hands to do that. So painful. :D

    Any idea will do. Thanks all.
