    Hello,

I have my power options set up so that the laptop goes into hibernate after 1 hour if it's running on battery, and to never hibernate if it's on AC power.

The problem is that if it's plugged in when I put it in standby/sleep, and remove the AC power later... it will never hibernate.

Shouldn't it be aware that AC power was unplugged while in standby and start the timer for hibernation?

It uses up so much power in standby (1-2% per hour), I would expect it to be able to process such events.

    any insight on this?

    thanks
