It would appear that one can avoid the long wait-times associated with ordering the x300 through Lenovo by ordering one from eBay. Does anyone have any thoughts on the advisability or otherwise of such a policy? Or IE what are the downsides to ordering Lenovos from eBay rather than from Lenovo directly? Any thoughts are much appreciated.

If you're looking for an X300, a gently used one is available at http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=65322
