This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    x300's no longer available thru Lenovo?

    I've been watching the x300's on Lenovo for the past few days, and as of this morning, the x300 is no longer available through the site. Does anybody know if this is a permanent thing?

    they do have some on the outlet site, but the prices aren't that great, and my EPP doesn't apply to outlet pricing.

    the X300 has been officially discontinued since the launch of the X301. they've been on sale the whole time to sell out the remaining stock.   now that stock has been sold, the X300 has been pulled from the site.

    prices on the outlet reduce over time on systems priced too high for market demand.   you'll just have to be patient and keep an eye out for a system meeting your requirements and budget.

    resellers may also have stock left of topseller models that you might find at a discount.   or, you might be able to find a used system on one of the forums.   heck, i sold my loaded X300 for around $1450 about six months ago.

    keep in mind, those x300 in ebay is refurbished, the refurbished one should have some CTR, R means refurbished, so don't try to buy it from ebay..
    X300 is discountinued because there was a huge discount before...
