My left trackpad button stopped working.

I tried to fix this by installing

    UltraNav (Trackpoint + Touchpad) Driver

    and

    UltraNav Utility

It started clicking all the time. I set the settings to default and now its not working again (tapping on the trackpad to click is also not working).

    How can I fix this?

The right button and pointer movement do work.

Remove the palmrest connector and reinstall it. Then remove the driver and reinstall it. If this doesn't fix it, it's likely a hardware problem and you need a replacement palmrest.
