This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I hate to be confusing, but we met with IBM in January when they showed us the T43 and said it would have the X600 option at launch, but then they removed that, and I'm not sure if it was due to heat problems or change in heart or what...but I wouldn't say it's a guarantee we'll see it because there certainly would be some heat issues in this thin of a laptop and the thick case it has.
