Bought this x60s last month and is loving it. However, the performance of the SD reader is leaving a lot to be desired.

    I have this card:

A Toshiba 2GB Class 6 SD card, and the transfer speed is horribly slow with my Thinkpad. The card should be rated at 20MB/s under optimal configurations, but the x60s SD reader is only capable of achieving ~5MB/s.

In addition, the CPU usage jumps to 30% during file transfers from the disk to SD card.

I tried to find new SD Host Controller drivers for Vista, but the lenovo website only has XP drivers for it.

Is this a known issue? Or can it be improved?

ps. I am able to enable ReadyBoost on the SD card, so it at least passes the Vista requirement.
