    Hey, I'm thinking of getting the x61t(ablet) with the x6 ultrabase, but I was wondering if the tablet would fit into the x60 sleeve with the docking station attached. If not, can you recommend some good bags that would fit (preferably leather or canvas or some other natural material).

    I don't think it will. From what I've heard, the tablet in the sleeve is a very snug fit -- pretty much designed for folks that are using it all the time in that mode (technicians, realtors, etc). I carried my X61t around for a few days with the base, but once you get it loaded up with software and use the built in software to virtualize a cd/dvd or two, you really don't need/want to carry the base around... It is slim, but so is the tablet... slim X 2 = not so slim :)

    I bought a Waterfield sleeve from sfbags.com. Technically it is designed for the X60/61 with a 4 cell, but it fits (albiet a little snugly) vertically in my backpack along side my work PC.

    The table is 16:9 while the x60-x61 are 4:3.
    IOWs the 16:9 is longer.

    Not correct. The X61 Tablet is 4:3 format as well.

    Mine is very 4:3, confirmed :) It's the only machine I have now that is 4:3.

    X61 = 10.5 x 8.3 x 1.4
    X61t = 10.8 x 9.6 x 1.3

    Dimensions of each are with a 4 cell battery.

    That has nothing to do with 16:9 vs. 4:3 format as you stated. The screen is 4:3 format on all versions of X60/X61, including Tablet versions.

    My bad then. I figured the extra length of the laptop had to do with that.
    However, the tablet is a bit longer than the x61s/x61 model as per the video.
