    x61 Screw Cap Covers?

    I just got my X61 back and they didn't put the screw covers back on the lcd bezel in the lower right and left corners. I called IBM and they don't know what part it is?

    Does anyone know where I can get them? Or if you have them I'd gladly pay you for them and shipping. Grr, this is annoying! thank in advance!

    You might ask them if the laptop has a plastics kit or whatnot...those 'kits' usually have those in them.

    The stickers are in a kit with a bunch of screws. It's a generic kit and I believe it's called a "Screw Bag". They did the same thing to me on my T60p.

    Still no luck from Lenovo. They've sent me 4 different part kits and none have the screw cap covers in them. It's really unreal that they don't know where they are and how to send them to someone. they are also refusing to send me out anymore parts and want me to send the laptop in!

    which parts kits have they sent you so far? do any of them match the FRU number that laptopguru has mentioned?
