I can boot up into my XP32 on the HD, but when i insert a XP64 CD (or XP32) it cant recognise any HD to install it on??

In the boot up sequence it says the optical USB drive is first and then the HD?

    Can anyone help me?

    I don't think so. I'm running pure w7 on my t61p.

Look in the bios at your disc setting ir may need to be flipped for installation.
