    i just ordered x61....with

    2.0 GHz (ultra connect...no other option), 1 Gb memory, 100 GB (7200rpm),

Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG, Bluetooth, Finger Print reader, no Turbo M

    and window vista home basic.

    -------------------------------------------

    1. My question is that turbo memory will boost the performance significantly

under XP pro? (since i am going to format HDD and reinstall XP pro)

If yes, i am going to call Lenovo and add Turbo Memory.

    2. what is that ultra connect for? is that the anthena sticking out on the side

of monitor? (no option for 2.0 GHz without ultra connect)

Yep, Turbo memory will only have an effect (if any) under Vista.
