What are the video out options without any base or docking system?

I'm thinking if I go the standard aspect matte route (x61s), I'll have to be able to pass videos on the hard drive to my TV instead, a nice plasma with HDMI and S-Video but no VGA.

    Is there s-video out?
Vga out? (In this case I'd need some kind of Vga to HDMI, right? Any good or loses quality?).

Also, the x61s is standard aspect but can it output in widescreen (plasma is ws), or would I just have to use something like the zoom feature on the tv and maybe lose quality again?

There is no S-Video connection on the X61(s) nor on the X6 Ultrabase docking station.

You can output to a wide screen monitor, so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to output to a wide screen TV. But then again I haven't plugged mine in to a TV to test it.
