Hi, I have had my x61s for 5 months now and have had one reoccurring issue: I am running Vista Home and every now and then the active screen will freeze for about 3-5 seconds and display "not responding" at the top of the screen. This happens quite a bit when I am surfing the web and click on a link and gets annoying fast. When this happens I also hear my hard drive spinning faster for the same 3-5 sec duration. I've disabled the Turbo Memory and still have these issues.

Is this just a Vista problem, or is this my hard drive not responding fast enough? I've called Lenovo and they said they can't help with software issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

This also occurs on my laptop and mostly in Internet Explorer 6/7. I doesn't happen often and its depends on how many applications I've running in the background. I haven't found any solution to this issue but I've learned to live with it as it happens so rare (maybe 1 time a month in my case).

I also experienced this under Windows XP.

This happens to me at least 5 times a day; both IE and Firefox does this along with other apps.

Has anyone else every experienced this or have any suggestions/solutions?
