    I'd be going for the lowest speed processor possible in an x series, just to minimize heat. So small.

    I went with the 1.6GHz, would of gone with more if it was possible on the X61s. It's basically personal reference.

    They're both Core 2 Duos. There's a typo on Lenovo's website.

    maybe not, you get the wireless N antenna.

    You can get the Intel Wireless N card with the 1.4GHz CPU too.

    Choosing the L7500 over the L7300 in the config page allows you to select the Intel Turbo Memory 1GB option.
