    xp pro sp2 reinstall on t42 type 2373 driver problems

    hi guys... i have tried reinstalling xp pro on my machine 3 times... every time the lan driver never shows up. its an older t42 - centrino 1.6 / 1.5gb ram dvdrw. its still a good machine, i booted from xp pro sp2 resinstalled windows then installed
    1-chipset driver
    2-then the thinkpad configuartion package
    3-then audio
    4-then graphics
    5-then lan

    i stopped here because the lan icon wasnt coming up in the system tray even after reboot.

    looks like ive done it wrong again.

    can somebody please give me specific instructions of which driver and when to install it (what order etc) as i need to use this machine ASAP for work ! and i think this forum does not correlate to my machine (chipset 3 etc is too new for my machine)

    my machine is a t42 type 2373

    thanks any help would be greatly appreciated
