    I was just about to get the y460 for $850, but the sale just had to end today. What's my next best option now? I'm looking for around the same price range for around the same specs

    If used laptop are ok with you, take a look at NBR Market place.
    There are frequently good deal on it.

    Usually once or twice a month. I wouldn't be surprised to see more and more deals start to pop up with college and high school starting up soon.

    See, I was thinking the same thing with schools starting up soon, but I might be being overly optimistic... I made another thread on this topic, but it was suggested I not wait there.

    The operative here being that the computer in my sig died...
