    Hi all,

I got my y470. Everything else is pretty good. But, I can't get my video card to work...

    Here is what I did:

I switched to always use "High Performance GPU" using CCC.
I am using HDMI to DVI output.
I did use GPU-Z to make sure my clock rate is correct, not throttled. My power plan is Max performance everywhere.

    There are two issues:
1: In CCC, it doesn't even detect my monitors.
2: When I play D3 beta, my FPS rate is less than 13. The really weird part is, there was one time when I started the game, I was able to play it with FPS rate around 60... (Measured using Fraps)

I was reading some HP laptop owner threads and youtube comments. It seems that ATI CCC doesn't really have a proper driver for 7690m yet. They were able to use a driver for 6000m. But, I can't seem to find a link just for that driver file.

:-( Please help if you have any ideas.

Switch from automatic switching to manual. I set it up so it always uses the ATI while plugged in, and Intel while on battery. Works perfectly.

Is this happening only when connected to an external monitor/TV, or does it happen when you are playing a game on the laptop screen?

I guess I need to test my 7690m using a game and also test it's HDMI output abilities. I ran 3DMark06 though and it ran fine. Good FPS performance.

At this point, I think it is a driver issue that doesn't support D3 well.
    Other game played fine.
