My younger sister's poodle just chewed off three of my laptops rubber feet. I left it upside down on my bed after cleaning the vents, which the dog then chewed on. Not completely but every time i see the damage it annoys me. Can i get it replaced? I just got it and it looks like 3 years old just because of that.

Just some pics on what the damage looks like. More like scratched, but annoys the hell out of me.

This is definitely not the surface where I placed the laptop that caused the damage because one of the foot is still intact.

You sound like one those Mac owners (I've seen Macbook Pro users cleaning their systems every day). That damage doesn't look bad at all and if the system still sits level it's all good.

Of course if it bothers you that much buy the parts and replace them but really how often does anyone ever see them? I personally wouldn't worry about it and keep it away from the dog in the future (I'm sure your sister doesn't see what the big deal is).

    Cheers,

I know the correct FRU because I looked at the Hardware Maintenance manual, I don't know what that other item is.
