I have the y510p with the under powered processor 4702mq 2.2-3.2, dual 750m, and the 1tb 5400rpm hard drive with a 24gb ssd cache and the 3 year onsite accidental lenovo warranty all for 1500. I'm debating returning it and getting an MSI ge60 2oe that has a Nivdia 765m, 750gb 7200rpm harddrive, 128 msata ssd, and the 4700mq 2.4-3.4 processor for 1450. My debate is whether the its upgrading to that much more performance but losing the credible lenovo warranty for MSI's spotty warranty? Will be used for gaming, video editing, and programming.

Sorry to mooch off your thread, but my question will probably be of use to you too.
Anyone know how long the GE60 lasts on-battery while surfing the web, watching youtube videos and such? How about the y510p (non-SLI)? -

Does anyone know the battery difference between a y510p and a ge60 2oe at all? Also whats MSI's warranty like compared to Lenovos?

The 2013 ge60 runs only for about 2 hours while surfing web. You can find more info in the 2013 ge60 owner's lounge in the MSI subforum.

Congratz you have now up to 2 more hours of battery life, assuming you dont do anything too intense.
