    Guys, i'm right now on SSD, OCZ Vertex 4. I've installed clean windows 7 and now i'm worried about saving ssd life. In google i seed two different tactics:

    - disable prefetch, defrag, search and many many other things cause they are all killing ssd slowly
    - don't touch anything, including defrag settings cause win 7 already know how to deal with ssd

    Any real advice?

    1. Disable your Page File
    2. Disable Hibernate
    3. Disable Disk Defrag
    4. Make sure TRIM is enabled
    5. Move your large files to external Storage
    8. Disable Prefetch

    That should be all.
