    Greetings everyone.
So the question is: any idea about y5xx with gt8xxm?
Y510p with gt755m is the best choice for me now.
I have money to buy this laptop, but I'm not in a rush.
I've read some threads about gt8xxm, and they're going to be a little bit better in performance then gt7xxm (i mean gt850 will be equal to gt760m and etc.)
So I was thinking maybe I should wait for the gt8xxm?
If there going to be y5xx with gt8xxm, will they comeout in next March or April?
    Or I shouldn't wait and buy Y510p with gt755m?

    Best regards
    Mr.Yellooow

8xx series won't come out till feb-march. But they are rumored to offer GTX 765M level performance.

Do you explicitly need a laptop now or don't mind waiting a few months?

As I said I can wait for it.
    So I have another question:
I'm not hard core gamer and can play on medium settings, will the gt850m(gtx765m) last for next 2-3 years?
Mostly I'll use laptop for drawing things in Photoshop and Corel.

Well even the 750m would most likely suffice for that. The only thing is that the Y5 refresh might inherit the FHD++ panel of the T540 as an option, which would be amazing, but don't count on it, and don't expect it to be under 1000$ either.

Until we get official specs of the Y5 refresh i really cannot help you.

    I actually don't need FHD+.
1366x768 is enough for me(in games). Most of the time I'll use my tv 40' via HDMI for drawing.
But I think I'll wait for refresh to be announced.

    Thank you.
