    been lurking on the forums for a while as i spiral down on a T61 purchase. much appreciation to the forum's voices of wisdom that have been very helpful to me and many other thinkpad rooks.

    most likely going to buy the following system today, but i figured i'd throw it out for a rationality check with you lot, to make sure i've done okay on configuring and pricing. this is via the CPP site, with the USEDECSAVINGS coupon applied. i'm hoping for a machine that will be blazing for office and adobe creative suite apps, solid for basic audio and video editing and some light gaming, and have a long lifespan. Intend to buy additional 2gb of ram from newegg after the fact.

    I'd say it looks like a great machine, very similar to mine, the hard drive is a good one very fast and quick access times, warranties always a good idea, great job going for XP. The only thing id say personally id go without the Bluetooth and save $30 and maybe upgrade to the T7500 but overall great machine youll love it.
