Before I ordered, three voices at lenovo (one of which was scott), assured me the dvd multi from my z 60m will work in my t 61. After reading that the R series uses a bigger size, and considering that my z is as thick as they come, I'm wondering if...

    a) The optical drive from my z 60m IS compatible w/that of t 61\
    (Scott 1, Leon 1).

    or

    b) The optical from my z 60m is TOO BIG for that of the t 61, and I saved $9 only to be stuck with a dvdrom
    (Scott 2 Leon 0).

    Burned again?

Well, if "ultrabay enhanced" and "ultrabay slim" means what I think it means, it's choice B.
