This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hearing mixed reports about this. Curious what the board has to say. Are z60t's as reliable as older thinkpads? Or is it a safer bet to go with the t42?

    I can't imagine that they'd be any less reliable than other Thinkpads.

    Since they've been out for only a few months, I'm not sure any experiential feedback would be meaningful. As Trippytiger said, though, theoretically, there is little reason to expect any problems. People did expect the Lenovo switch to create problems, but I think everyone has been pleasantly surprised so far.
